MIAMI - Police released the identify of the man whose body was found in the back seat of a car parked at a gas station in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood Tuesday.

Police on Thursday identified him as 36-year-old Manuel Riocabo. The cause of death wasn't released.

The car was parked at the Shell gas station at 5343 NW 7th Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. A woman called 911 and said there was an unresponsive man inside her car, police say.

The daughter of a woman inside the car said they thought the man was sleeping until they stopped at the gas station.

"When they asked him if he wanted something to drink, they discovered he was dead," said the woman, who declined to give Local 10 her name.

Investigators don't believe foul play is to blame for his death. Police questioned the driver for about an hour and then released her.

"That's something we'll have to find out from homicide investigators to see what was her participation in this incident," said Miami police spokesman Frederica Burden.
