Surveillance video captures robbery at Value Pawn

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Surveillance video captured two men, including one armed with an assault rifle, forcing a pregnant woman and a man holding a baby to the ground as they robbed a pawn shop in Pompano Beach.

The robbery happened at Value Pawn, located at 3181 N. Dixie Highway on October 27.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, one of the men carried the assault rifle while the other sprayed mace at three people inside the pawn shop.

The two robbers left with cash, a gold chain, and various other items stolen from people inside the store.

No one was seriously injured in the robbery.

The first robber is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket and long, dark pants. He wore long dreads, but witnesses said they may have been fake.

The robber suspect is described as about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 175 pounds with dark skin and short hair. He wore a black T-shirt, red shorts and a blue baseball cap. Both seem to be about 25.
