Fins cornerbacks look to make their mark

DAVIE, Fla. - Miami Dolphins second-year cornerbacks Jamar Taylor and Will Davis are at minicamp to make their case for more playing time in 2014.

Taylor has pulled ahead of his teammate by earning snaps opposite Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes on the first-team defense. He appears to be fully recovered from the sports hernia injury that affected him as a rookie and had a nice pass breakup during team drills on Wednesday.

Veteran free agent acquisition Cortland Finnegan sat out team drills for the second straight day, giving Taylor a chance to match up with starting receivers Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline.

Davis also got some snaps with the first team, but not as many as Davis.
