FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Screeners for the Transportation Security Administration stopped a loaded gun from making it onto a flight from South Florida this week.
The TSA said the screeners found the loaded .45 caliber pistol, like the one you see in the picture above, on Wednesday in a carry-on bag at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
In total, the TSA found 32 guns in carry-on baggage across the country in the last week. Of those 32 guns, 27 were loaded.
Screeners also seized a stun gun at FLL this week.
