MIAMI - Valentine's Day is just one week away, and that means endless flower bouquets are en route to South Florida.

UPS says they're handling about 3,000 tons of flowers within just 20 days.

"Beginning January 25th through February the 11th is our peak time for flowers for Valentine's," said Jose Acosta, UPS Operations President. "For us, it's 24/7."

For people looking to send a message of romance with petals, Acosta offered some advice: "Make sure that special person that gets the flowers is happy, gets them early and gets them in the condition that they want them."

UPS says 95 million flowers are coming from Colombia and Ecuador for the lover's holiday.
