Miami police release sketch of burglar

MIAMI - Police in Miami released a sketch of a burglar who broke inside a home and proceeded to choke and fondle an elderly woman.

The incident happened in the 1200 block of Southwest 23rd Street on September 25.

According to investigators, the man broke into the woman's home, climbed on top of her, and began to choke her. He then fondled the victim before running away.

The suspect is described as being bald, weighing 230 to 245 pounds, and standing 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing an undershirt around his face.

"At the current moment, we do have some DNA evidence that's been sent out to the laboratory. We're urging the public to please assist us," said Miami Police Sgt. Freddie Cruz. "We're looking for a black, Latin male, 5'8'', 5'10'', heavy set, about 250 pounds, and, again, last seen wearing nothing but boxers."
