MIAMI - A man who was shot by the owner of a pawn shop in North Miami was being held in jail Wednesday on no bond.

Jeffrey Moore was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, weapon possession while committing an offense, tampering with physical evidence, and assault with a deadly weapon.

According to police, Moore went to American Pawn and was confronted by the owner who thought he was trying to steal things from the store. The two got into a fight over Moore's gun which spilled out in front of the store.

The pawn shop owner, who was also armed, then shot Moore. Police said Moore ran off and hid in a shed of a nearby home, where he was later found.
