MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A 30-year-old man suffered burns to his face and arms when a boat caught fire Friday in Miami Gardens.
Authorities said the boat was parked outside a home at 3860 NW 179th St.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Lt. Felipe Lay said a woman called 911 and said that her husband was outside with the boat when the fire started.
Lay said the man was airlifted to a hospital.
His condition has not been released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
