Miami-Dade Police search for armed robber near Southridge Senior High School

2 suspects already in custody near SW 192nd Street, SW 112th Avenue

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. - Miami-Dade Police are searching for an alleged armed robber who escaped arrest near Miami Southridge Senior High School, early Friday morning. The suspect is the last person missing after two others were arrested.

Just after midnight on Friday morning, three armed men robbed a business. A few hours later, police spotted a car matching the description, and pulled it over near SW 192nd St. and SW 112 Ave. The three people inside jumped out of the car and began shooting with automatic weapons. They escaped, and no officers were injured.

Police were able to arrest two of the alleged robbers, but the third remains on the loose.
