FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A natural gas leak was reported Monday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.
Sky 10 was above the area of 1739 E. Commercial Blvd. shortly before 5:30 a.m. as Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue and hazmat crews were at the scene working to cap the leak.

The cause of the leak was not immediately known.
The public is asked to avoid the area until the leak is fixed.
