No bail for beer dropping robbery suspect

Johnny Love accused of robbing Shell gas station in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. ā€“ A Miami-Dade Circuit judge rules a man accused of robbing a gas station on Thanksgiving will remain in jail without bail.

Police arrested 22-year-old Johnny Love on Thursday and charged him with armed robbery, having a firearm in commission of a felony, criminal mischief, carrying a concealed firearm, and resisting arrest without violence.

Love held up the Shell gas station on Northwest 7th Avenue about 5:40 a.m. Thursday, police say. When he pulled out a gun and jumped over the counter, the clerk tripped the silent alarm.

Surveillance video shows Love fill bags with candy, gum, and beer, police say. As he left, one of the bags broke and he proceeded to pick up the beer bottles.
