U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Take her politics out of the equation, and U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is still fascinating.

After President Barack Obama, Wasserman Schultz is the most powerful Democrat in the U.S. The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee is charged with getting Obama back to the White House next year, battling Republicans at every turn.

She has come a long way from Weston.
