MIAMI - Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a woman and man at the Marathon Gas Station at 2735 Northwest Seventh Street on Sept. 5 at approximately 1 a.m.

The victims reported that the male suspect, driving a late model, silver VW Jetta with dark window tints, approached them from behind and snatched the woman's wallet from her hand.

Both the man and woman fought back, hitting the suspect as he walked back to his car. In an attempt to get her wallet, the female entered through the suspect's car window as he drove away, but the suspect began punching the woman in her head and chest.

The suspect then got away with the woman's wallet, fleeing westbound on Seventh Street.

The suspect is described as 25 to 30-years-old, weighing approximately 170-200 pounds and standing between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall.

Witnesses were able to get a partial tag of ANE.

The clerk at the station said the suspect had been seen at the store three times that day prior to the robbery.
