HIALEAH, Fla. - An estranged husband stabbed his wife to death in front of their two children early Morning morning, according to Hialeah police.

The incident happened at 960 W. 29th Street abut 6 a.m. Neighbors identified the woman as Yulia Torres.

"We go to the window and we hear the glass break and a sudden scream, and after a moment, everything got quiet and the little girls were screaming," said Daianerys Rodriguez, her neighbor.

Torres, 30, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police haven't released a motive, but Rodriguez said Torres wanted to move.

"She was asking my mom if she knew any apartments around here that she could move into," said Rodriguez. "I just knew that once he ran in and started hitting her."
