Former KKK Grand Wizard praises appointees, nominee

MIAMI – Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke approved of President-elect Donald Trump's picks for national security adviser, chief strategist and attorney general. 

Duke praised Trump's appointments of Michael Flynn as his assistant for national security and Steve Bannon as his chief strategist and senior counselor.

Duke also applauded Trump's nomation of Sen. Jeff Sessions as the U.S. attorney general. 

"Americans are on the way to taking back our government, our nation and our children's future," a tweet from Duke's account said.

Trump's choices indicate those who showed loyalty during his campaign will be among the thousands of appointees and nominees who will oversee the nation's security, economy, foreign affairs and domestic policies.
