PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A new poll released Thursday shows Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump crushing U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio on his home turf in Florida.

The Quinnipiac University poll finds Trump with 44-percent support in the race for Florida, followed by Rubio with 28 percent.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and John Kasich trail badly in the Sunshine State with 12 percent and 7 percent, respectively.
The Florida primary is set for March 15.
The GOP frontrunners will square off Thursday night in Houston for their final debate before Super Tuesday.
