WASHINGTON, DC - A brand new poll shows former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney with a slide edge over President Obama in the race for Florida.

The Purple Strategies poll shows Romney with 48-percent support and the President with 47-percent support in the Sunshine State.

Those numbers are the same as those from a PurplePoll conducted last month.

The Purple Strategies team brands itself as a bipartisan polling outfit.

The poll was conducted this week via the phone and internet. The margin of error is +/-4 percent.
