WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is keeping the world in suspense when it comes to the Paris climate agreement.
"I'm hearing from a lot of people both ways," Trump said as he met with Vietnam's prime minister in the Oval Office.

The president tweeted late Wednesday night that he'll announce his decision at 3 p.m. Thursday in the White House Rose Garden.
Sources said, however, that he'll likely keep his campaign promise to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.
The lobbying has been fierce both in and outside the White House.
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, want the U.S. to stay in the deal, and so do Apple's Tim Cook and Tesla's Elon Musk.
The president's chief strategist, Steve Bannon, along with more than 20 Republican senators, said they want the U.S. to get out of the agreement.
Nearly 200 nations have agreed to cut carbon emissions as part of the deal.
In a tweet Thursday morning, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Florida, wrote, "Syria and Nicaragua are the only nations that didn't sign the Paris agreement. Nicaragua said it wasn't tough enough. What's Trump’s excuse?"
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly denied any meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.
He defended hackers, saying they can be patriots, but added that no hacker can influence election campaigns in any country.
"Hackers are free people, just like artists who wake up in a good mood and paint things," he said. "The hackers are the same. They would wake up, read about something going on in interstate relations and, if they have patriotic leanings, they may try to add their contribution to the fight against those who speak badly about Russia."
