Profanity-spewing gunman robs store

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Surveillance cameras were rolling last month as a man with a gun yelled profanities at a 7-Eleven clerk and demanded cash before escaping.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said the man went into the 7-Eleven at 901 W. Sample Road about 9:40 p.m. June 11.

The man, who had a handgun, started yelling profanities at the 23-year-old clerk and demanding cash, BSO said.

According to investigators, the robber escaped in a light blue Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The robber is described as a man in his 30s who is about 180 pounds and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He wore a white T-shirt and black gym shorts.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
