Shocking inspection shows rodents were running rampant at all-inclusive resort

Inverrary Resort kitchen reopens after third re-inspection

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Wow! State records show some of the worst rodent issues Local 10 News has seen in a long time at the all-inclusive Inverrary Resort in Lauderhill.

Records show rodent droppings were found on the cook line and on clean plates.

The inspector noted a torn package of sugar in the dry storage with several rodent droppings inside.

Rodent droppings were also found on the foil cover of red beans and the foil covering had holes in it.

That's not all. The inspector also noted spoiled hot dogs with a "slimy substance and objectionable odor" in the flip top reach-in-cooler at the tiki bar.

The resort was not allowed to re-open after re-inspections on March 2 and March 3.

Eventually, after another inspection on March 4, the Inverrary Resort kitchen was allowed to re-open.
