State finds 110 violations inside South Florida restaurant

Inspector says construction drill used as mixer at China Buffet on Bird Road

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – It's one of the worst inspections we have seen in a long time. Inspectors were at China Buffet on Bird Road last week after someone called in a complaint.

Based on the inspection obtained by Local 10 News, the kitchen was filthy and the inspector noted that a construction drill was being used as a mixer.

Records show inspectors were at China Buffet six times in 2015 and five times in 2014, but this was the first time the place was ordered shut.

Reviews on Yelp by consumers show pictures of a soiled carpet.

One customer said she refused to finish eating after a roach crawled across her table.

Below is a list of all the places ordered shut and some of their violations. All the places listed were allowed to reopen following ordered clean-ups and re-inspections.
