Robbers ram Sunrise police cruiser

LAUDERHILL, Fla. - Police are looking for two robbers who rammed a Sunrise police cruiser, then led a chase into Lauderhill.

The incident began as an armed robbery at a Walmart, located at 3306 University Drive, on Monday afternoon, according to the Sunrise Police Department.

The robbers then rammed an unmarked police cruiser. Another cruiser crashed in the 2700 block of Northwest 56th Avenue, where the robbers bailed out of their vehicle.

Police apprehended one of the robbers.

The officers were uninjured.
