North Miami Beach, Fla. - The Humane Society of Greater Miami invites guests to attend The International Homeless Animals' Day on Saturday, August 18, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Bring the family, including Fido, to enjoy complimentary refreshments, enticing contests, discounted adoptions, free nail trims, free collars, and raffles where you can win some exciting prizes.

The event will take place at their Soffer and Fine Adoption Center at 16101 West Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach.

International Homeless Animals' Day was initiated by the International Society for Animal Rights 21 years ago. Its purpose is to shed light on the tragedy of pet overpopulation and the urgent need for affordable spay/neuter programs to help save the lives of animals.

Together, we will continue to be a voice for the animals and work tirelessly to find permanent and loving homes for them and promote responsible pet ownership.
