MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A skunk nicknamed "Pepe" was rescued from a water pipe Wednesday afternoon, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.
Pepe got in trouble while attempting to seek refuge at about 2:15 p.m. near Southwest 127 Avenue and Old Dixie Highway.

"You could say that something didn't smell right about this call," Lt. Felipe Lay said.
Pepe was removed from the pipe safely and released back into the wild after it was determined that the skunk wasn’t injured.
