Stolen car crashes into house

Deputies say no one was injured

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - A stolen car crashed into a house in Pompano Beach Tuesday evening.

It happened in the 900 block of Northeast 24th Street.

BSO deputies said they were conducting a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the 3300 block of Northeast 7th Street around 6:20 p.m.

Authorities said the driver sped off and crashed into the house. Two adult males in the car attempted to flee on foot, but were quickly apprehended, deputies said.

People were inside the house at the time the car struck it. Authorities said there were no injuries.

The car was reported stolen minutes before from Shop Smart, a convenience store located at 680 Northeast 33rd Street, deputies said.
