MIAMI - A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary during which a girl was fondled, Miami police said.

The suspect, Carlos Caballero, 46, appeared in bond court Sunday.

Miami police believe Caballero is the man who went into a home near Northwest 44th Avenue and 11th Street in the early-morning hours of May 11, pointed a gun at a man inside.

Police said the intruder forced the man to lay face-down on the bed, then tied him up and covered his face.

While ransacking the apartment, police said, the intruder went into another bedroom and tied up a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. The girl tried to use her cellphone, but the robber took it away and then started fondling her breasts over her clothing.

The man tied up in the other room was able to free himself, and the attacker ran out of the house, according to police.
