Dreams really do come true! Well, at least for one Australian lottery winner they did.

The suburban Sydney man, who chose not to be named, said on Monday morning that he dreamed of winning the lottery three weeks prior to taking home the jackpot.

“Three weeks ago, I had a dream where I won (the lottery),” he told New South Wales Lottery officials. “Then yesterday when we were sitting on the beach relaxing, I looked at my wife, grabbed her hands and I said to her, ‘We are about to win something, you just wait.'

“After that dream, I just had this overwhelming feeling that we were going to win, and turns out I was right!”

The winning prize of the Set for Life drawing, which the man won, will provide him with $20,000 Australian dollars ($14,417.60 USD) per month for the next 20 years.

“We are going to be jumping up and down for days. I hope my husband doesn’t have a heart attack from excitement,” the winner’s wife said.

The jubilant couple said they will retire and spend the winnings on restoring a beach property in Queensland, do some international traveling and give to charity.

“There are a lot of people who need help in this world, so we are definitely going to give a lot to a few different charities and start volunteering,” the wife said. “It would be impossible to spend that much money, so I think it is important to help as many people as we can.”
