MIAMI - 3:00PM - Scattered showers and storms, mainly off shore for now, will continue to move from the east to west around 15 mph.  So our rain and storm chance will gradually increase late this afternoon, into the early evening hours.  Later tonight, the rain and storm chance decreases, with temperatures falling from the low to mid 80s, into the upper 70s overnight, into early Friday Morning.  Friday features more scattered showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon.  Some rain could be locally heavy at times.  For the latest on the tropics, click on the Hurricane tab on the homepage of

9:15AM- The day started dry this AM but later today there is a 50% chance of showers and storms in the forecast. Not much of a change in temperatures is expected during the next 7 days. Highs warm into the upper 80s and lows will be in the mid to low 70s.

6:00AM - An old frontal boundary will remain stalled over the state for the next few days and that will result in a 40% chance of a shower or storm each day.  We will start your Thursday in the upper 70s and climb in the upper 80s in the afternoon.
