Tornado Watch issued for South Florida

Strong cluster of storms moving across state

MIAMI – The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties until 8 p.m. Thursday.

A strong cluster of storms was forecast to move across the central and southern portions of the state from west to east.

Forecasters said some areas can expect hail up to 2 inches in diameter, wind gusts up to 60 mph, and lightning.
