List of opposition lawmakers stripped of immunity in Venezuela

Voters elected the 60-year-old politician as the deputy to the Venezuelan state of Bolivar. He is a leading member of the La Causa Radical, or Radical Cause, political party. He sought refuge in the Italian embassy in Caracas.

Voters elected the 30-year-old Venezuelan attorney as the deputy to the state of Merida. He was also serving as the president of the assembly's commission of finance and economic development and the vice president of the assembly's comptroller's office. He is a leading member of the Primero Justicia political party. He was accused of treason May 14.

Juan A. Mejia

The 32-year-old graduate of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government is a deputy of the state of Miranda. He is a leading member of the Voluntad Popular, or Popular Will, political party.

Henry L. Ramos

The 75-year-old Venezuelan lawyer is the deputy for the capital district. He is the leader of the coalition of opposition political parties and a leading member of the Accion Democratica, or Democratic Action, party.

Winston Flores

He is the elected deputy of the Venezuelan state of Vargas. He is a leading member of the Voluntad Popular party. He remains in Chile.

Sergio Vergara

The Venezuelan attorney is the 45-year-old elected deputy of the Venezuelan state of Tachira. He is a leading member of the Voluntad Popular party.

Jose Calzadilla

He is the elected deputy of the Venezuelan state of Lara. He is a leading member of the Patria Para Todos, or Homeland For All, political party.

Miguel Pizarro

The 31-year-old deputy represents the district of Petare. He is a member of the commission for social development. He is a leading member of the Justice First political party.

Freddy Superlano

The 42-year-old computer engineer represents the Venezuelan state of Barinas. He is a member of the Voluntad Popular party. He was hospitalized after he was poisoned in Cucuta, Colombia. Carlos Salinas, his assistant, died of poisoning.

Mariela Magallanes

The 42-year-old politician was elected as deputy of the Venezuelan state of Aragua. She  is a member of the La Causa Radical party. She remains at the diplomatic residence of the Italian embassador in Caracas.

Franco Casella

He was elected as the deputy of the Venezuelan state of Miranda. He is a member of the Voluntad Popular party. About a week after finding refuge at the diplomatic residence of the Mexican ambassador, he reported he was in Israel.

Luis Florido

He was elected as the deputy of the Venezuelan state of Lara. He was a founding member of the Voluntad Popular party, and he became an independent late last year. He is a citizen from Spain and was in Colombia earlier this month.

Richard Blanco 

He is the deputy for the fifth circuit of the capital district, and he is a leading member of the Alianza Bravo Pueblo party. He sought refuge at the Argentina's embassy in Caracas.
