Boy finds gun in dressing room, mom fires 'to see if it's real'

An Atlanta woman whose son found a gun in a mall dressing room fired it when she pulled the trigger "to see if it was real."

The Associated Press reports the 10-year-old boy found the gun under a bench in the dressing room and thought it was a toy, so the mother took the gun and pulled the trigger.

Police say no injuries were reported and the single shot caused minimal damage.

No charges have been filed.
