A former CIA agent has started a GoFundMe page to crowdfund enough money to buy Twitter and kick President Donald Trump off, ABC News reports.

Valerie Plame Wilson launched the campaign last week tweeting, "If @Twitter executives won't shut down Trump's violence and hate, then it's up to us. #BuyTwitter #BanTrump." As of Thursday morning, the page had raised a little more than $41,000 toward its $1 billion goal.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders issued a statement saying, "Her ridiculous attempt to shut down his First Amendment is the only clear violation and expression of hate and intolerance in this equation."

If Wilson were to hit the $1 billion dollar goal, it would make her Twitter's largest shareholder and in a position to exert influence on the company.
