Man accused of exposing himself to tourists at Bahia Honda State Park

John Udovich, 33, claims he is experimenting with 'alternative lifestyle'

BIG PINE KEY, Fla. – A Lake Worth man was arrested on a warrant Wednesday after he exposed himself to two women who were visiting Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys, authorities said.

According to Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin, John Udovich, 33, sat down on the beach next to the two 24-year-old women on March 16 while wearing a T-shirt and towel wrapped around his waist.

The women, who were in town from Georgia, said they turned to face him and he opened his legs, exposing himself to them.

The women told authorities that they got up and walked away, but Udovich began following them while he was naked from the waist down.

Herrin said the friends hid in bushes and called 911. She said Udovich approached the victims and asked whether they saw anything, to which they replied, "No."

According to Herrin, Udovich told the responding deputy that he had been experimenting with an "alternative lifestyle" and that is why he was walking naked on the beach.

Udovich was arrested on a warrant Wednesday for indecent exposure.
