A Florida man who was in the process of being questioned by police about grand theft was actually arrested when heroin fell out of his pocket.

William Dwayne Washington, 44, was being questioned by Marion County Police about a grand theft investigation when an officer asked him to empty his pockets. As Washington complied, a small baggie with a brown substance fell out, and he quickly stepped on it to try to conceal it. When the officer asked what it was, Washington replied the baggie contained his "daily vitamins."

Authorities performed a field test on the substance, which revealed it was heroin.

The Miami Herald reports Washington was charged with possession of heroin.
