VIDEO: Clown prankster pistol-whipped by man on street

STOCKTON, Calif. – A clown prankster picked the wrong person to mess with.

VIdeo of the prank-gone-wrong has gone viral and the man behind the prank says he's putting the bit to rest.

KABC reports it all started when Sadiq Mohammad, 20, went out on the streets dressed as a clown in order to scare people on the streets for his YouTube channel.

But Mohammad got more than he could handle when he approached one man who pulled out a gun and begins to question who he thought he was "clowning" around with.

Before Mohammad could answer, the unidentified man pistol-whips the clown, knocking him into nearby bushes.

It's then that Mohammed begins yelling, "It's a prank!"

Mohammad quickly ran away, and so did the person filming the prank after the man with gun turned his eyes towards him or her.
