A Colorado woman made her husband turn himself in after she realized the jail made a mistake letting him out.
Inmate Jame Rynerson, 38, was in custody at Mesa County Jail on menacing, disorderly conduct and trespass charges when Mesa County Sheriff's deputies mistook him for another inmate and set him free.
The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports Rynerson had been liberated for less than two hours when his wife made him turn himself in. Mesa County Sheriff Sft. Henry Stoffel said jail employees broke procedure and an investigation is ongoing.
