Woman sought for questioning in Coral Springs Dollar Tree fire

Cause of fire remains under investigation

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs police are searching for a woman they want to question about a fire that was reported earlier this month at a Dollar Tree.

The fire was reported about 12:30 p.m. April 15 at the Dollar Tree at 11530 W. Sample Road.

Police said the fire started in aisle 4 of the store and flames could be seen on surveillance video reaching above the top of the shelves.

Detectives said they want to question a blonde woman, who was wearing a black top and a long green skirt, to determine whether she has any information about the fire. She was captured on video walking past the cameras near the store's entrance.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but detectives said the fire appears to be suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Anthony Cassini at 954-346-1251 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
