Youth pastor accused of molesting girl

Police: Man lured girl into Fort Lauderdale home

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A youth pastor was arrested this week, accused of molesting a child in his Fort Lauderdale home.

Fort Lauderdale police said they believe that Raymond Vincent, 41, lured a girl under age 12 into his home after offering her food.

Once the girl was inside the home, police said, Vincent groped her.

The girl told investigators that Vincent had molested her twice in 2011, Fort Lauderdale police said.

It is unclear how Vincent and the girl know each other.

Vincent, who is a youth pastor at a Pompano Beach church, was arrested and charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a person under 12 years old. He is being held at the Broward County Main Jail.

Although Vincent told police he is a youth pastor, he has not been able to provide officers with information on his church. Vincent is also an employee of a McDonald's restaurant, police said.

Fort Lauderdale police said they are concerned there may be more victims.

"Due to the fact that Mr. Vincent is a youth pastor whose main purpose is mentoring youth, we are concerned that there may possibly be other victims out there, and we're hoping that anyone whose children may have been inappropriately contacted by Mr. Vincent to call in so that we can further investigate any other cases of accused molestation," said Travis Mandell, of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

Anyone who believes their child may have been a victim, or anyone with any information in the case, is asked to call Fort Lauderdale police Detective Felicia Barnwell at 954-828-5533 or Detective Lorette Innocent-Doles at 954-828-5137.
