Drenched kitten rescued from car grill during rainstorm

BROWARD COUNTY – Even our four-legged friends in South Florida have had enough of this wet weather.

A crew from Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to a poor little kitten that had gotten itself stuck behind a car grill after taking shelter from the rain.

Broward Sheriff's Office spokesperson Mike Jachles tweeted out a picture of the rescue, urging people to "Look Closely! That's not a hood ornament-it's a kitten trying to stay dry."

Luckily, firefighters were able to rescue the soaking wet kitty from the Toyota RAV4, enabling it to seek shelter in a much safer location.
