MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A miniature horse is back with its owner after it was captured on cellphone video Thursday morning dodging traffic in Miami Gardens.
Rory Austin, who works in the area, said he saw the horse galloping down the Seventh Avenue expansion, near Florida's Turnpike and the Dolphin Expressway.
Austin said the horse was dodging vehicles, until a driver got out of his car and corralled the horse over to him.
"I was definitely shocked, like, where would a mini horse come from in Miami Gardens? There's no farms around here," Austin said.
Austin told Local 10 News that the horse was not injured and was reunited with its owner.
It's unclear how the horse got loose.
