The Humane Society of Broward County's 27th annual "Walk for the Animals" will be held Saturday.

The annual fundraiser benefits the HSBC shelter and helps to save countless homeless animals through its rescuing and rehoming efforts.
The walk will begin at Huizenga Plaza at 32 East Las Olas Blvd. in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Local 10 News will be there.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the walk beings at 10 a.m. Local 10's animal advocate Jacey Birch will host the event with her family and furry friends. Make sure you stop by to say hi!
