ORLANDO, Fla - Do cats really have nine lives? A cat in Orlando survived a jump to escape a "massive" apartment fire in a neighborhood near Walt Disney World Tuesday afternoon.

Osceola firefighters reportedly used an oxygen mask to help the cat after jumping off the third floor and running a few steps.

Charlie Jasper told a Local 10 News partner that his cat had "burned paws" and "some scratches" but no serious visible injuries.
