Broward Sheriff's Office spokesperson Mike Jachles tweeted out a picture of the rescue, urging people to "Look Closely! That's not a hood ornament-it's a kitten trying to stay dry."
Luckily, firefighters were able to rescue the soaking wet kitty from the Toyota RAV4, enabling it to seek shelter in a much safer location.
