FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale firefighters rescued a puppy from a house fire on Saturday.
They responded to a fire with heavy smoke at a one-story house, 1523 NW 14th St., about 4:30 p.m.

No one was injured and the firefighters treated the puppy for smoke inhalation.
