6-8 cups mixed summer fruit, cut into smaller pieces, if needed (We used a mix of blueberries, sliced strawberries, stone fruit and 1 green apple – use your favorite!)

1 orange, sliced into thin rounds

1-2 lemons, sliced into thin rounds

1 to 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust depending on the sweetness of your fruit)

1 bottle crisp white wine

lemon-lime soda, for topping

fresh mint leaves or basil leaves, if desired

Combine the fruit, sliced oranges and lemons, sugar and white wine together in your pitcher. Let macerate for at least 2 hours (or longer if you have the time.) Top with lemon-lime soda before serving. You can also add fresh mint and basil leaves, if desired.
