MIAMI – As the Canes open up the 2014 season, one fan is showing his school spirit.
Gerald J posted a picture on twitter of a giant "U" painted on hi front lawn.

He is hoping that after Miami plays at Louisville on Monday night, he won't need to break out the mower.
He posted on twitter, "Just finished painting the yard. It's game day. It's all about the U."
