MIAMI – Guard Tyler Johnson will remain on the Heat's roster for the rest of the season.
Johnson has appeared in six games for the Heat this year.
He averages 7.5 points, 2.5 rebounds. and 1.2 assists.
He scored a team-high 18 points against San Antonio.
Johnson was originally signed to a 10-day contract on January 12.
He received a 2nd 10-day contract before being signed for the year.
The Heat can use all the help they can get at guard, as Dwyane Wade continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
