Local10.com college football picks: Week 3 results
PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A pair of top-10 teams fell this weekend, shaking up the college football landscape and dealing the prognosticators of the Local10.com college football picks their worst week yet.
Local 10 sports director Will Manso and Local 10 sports reporter Clay Ferraro remained tied for first with a 29-7 record. Manso, Ferraro and Local 10 sports reporter Andrea Brody were 9-4 this week.
Local 10 meteorologist Julie Durda had the worst showing, finishing 8-5. Nebraska's 36-33 overtime loss at Miami proved to be the difference.
There were three big winners that caught the entire group by surprise -- Furman's 16-15 victory at UCF that dropped the Knights to 0-3, Stanford's 41-31 upset win at No. 6 USC and Mississippi's 43-37 victory at No. 2 Alabama.
