Marlins to give Larry Bowa second interview, according to report

Fish continue managerial search

MIAMI – The Marlins will give Larry Bowa a second interview as they look to fill their vacant managerial job.

That's according to a report by Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

The Marlins are looking to replace Dan Jennings.

Jennings was widely criticized for lacking managing experience.

The same cannot be said of Bowa.

Bowa managed the Padres (1987-88) and the Phillies (2001-04).

Bowa has been in baseball for decades.

His career started as a Phillies player from 1970-1981.

He also played for the Cubs and Mets.

Bowa is currently a coach on the Phillies staff.
