WASHINGTON – Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was scratched from Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards because of shoulder soreness.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said that Wade, who played 21 minutes and scored just two points in the Heat's win over Milwaukee on Tuesday, would test his shoulder before the game.

Miami declared him out about a half-hour before tipoff.

This is the second game that Wade has missed with shoulder issues.

Gerald Green started in Wade's place on Wednesday.

The Heat are also without Goran Dragic, Beno Udrih and Chris Anderson who are all sidelined with various injuries.
